In honor of Cinco de Mayo grab your margarita and browse our Latin inspired celebration! This unique wedding featured a live Mariachi band, traditional Spanish cuisine, and vibrant floral arrangements mixed with cactus and succulents by the very talented local artist Francoise Weeks.
The venue, Castaway, was the perfect downtown Portland Industrial vibe for Natalie and Fredrick’s special day. The ceremony took place indoors under exposed beams with a cascading curtain of succulents on stained platforms.
The outdoor patio hosted the cocktail hour, where guests were entertained by a Mariachi band while enjoying tapas before heading back inside for a paella Spanish dinner. The table settings included unique centerpieces mixed with traditional cans for vases, mexican blanket runners, and a mini bottle of Tapatio for each guest to pull this style off with as much vibrance as our happy couple.
The corners of the space featured Vintage dark wood chairs, coffee tables and mexican blankets to keep a cozy atmosphere for their guests. As well as a beautiful Macrame woven backdrop for the DJ that was on stage for the dance party. Guests received a surprise treat of a breathtaking Portland sunset, as they danced the night away in celebration of Natalie and Fredrick.
